Take Time Off To Travel and Refresh

Taking time off to travel will refresh and reset your mind, making you able to enjoy the world around you, the nature, different cultures and the beauty that each destination has to offer.  In general, it can make you realize how amazing time away can be! If it’s been a while since you planned a vacation or you just want a few guidelines to make sure you get the most out of the time you take off, we have some friendly advice to share with you from our experiences in traveling.

Vacationing can be a great way to bring multiple or extended families together for shared experiences while also having your own agendas, privacy, rest, and relaxation. On some vacations, people who don’t normally spend 24 hours a day together, now suddenly we are doing just that. Prepare, and prep for the combined trips. Remember that no trip is smooth sailing all the time. Bad weather. Bad moods. But with a few adjustments they can be some of the most memorable, exciting, and fun times.

Have you ever gone on a trip/vacation and once you have been on the road for hours, think…now what? Where should we stop to stay or what can we do along the way? One thing we have learned throughout traveling is that breaks are essential with any age. If you are planning to travel by vehicle then plan enough time to enjoy your drive, and scenic views along the way. Before traveling, we learned to research attractions, and popular destinations that we can visit along our route. Booking hotels, or air BNB’s beforehand will enhance your experience and not leave you feeling overwhelmed. Traveling by vehicle can become exhausting, so getting plenty of rest is essential. We all know long trips can become frustrating when kids are impatient, and excited to get to the destination. Here are a few fun car games that we have used to ease some tension and make the trip a little less stressful, Name the Artist, The License Plate Game, The Alphabet Game, Road Trip Scavenger Hunt, I spy. DVD’s players, and electronics are helpful as well.
